Hi @Legend0118
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for stopping by the HP community. A very good day to you. I reviewed the post. I will be delighted to assist you here.
Superb description and stupendous diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. 😊
Absolutely, I’ll walk you through it step by step so you can get your documents scanned and sent off without the headache. Since your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 is disconnecting when trying to scan to your Windows 11 computer, let’s make sure everything is set up correctly.
✅ Step 1: Confirm Printer Is on the Same Network
- On the printer’s touchscreen, tap Wi-Fi icon.
- Make sure it says Connected and shows the same Wi-Fi network your computer is on.
- If not, go to Settings > Network Setup > Wireless Settings > Wireless Setup Wizard and reconnect.
🖥️ Step 2: Enable “Scan to Computer”
- On your computer, open the HP Smart app.
- Click your printer, then go to Advanced Settings (this opens a browser window).
- Under Scan > Scan to Computer, make sure it’s enabled.
- If it’s off, click Enable and apply the changes.
🔄 Step 3: Restart the Connection
- Restart your printer, router, and computer.
- After rebooting, open HP Smart again and try scanning.
🧰 Step 4: Use HP’s Diagnose & Fix Tool
- In the HP Smart app, click Printer Settings > Diagnose & Fix.
- Let it run a scan—it will automatically fix common connection issues.
You can also access this tool on HP’s support page if needed.
📤 Step 5: Scan and Email
- In HP Smart, click Scan > Scan to Computer.
- After scanning, click Share > Email to send it directly.
Let me know how far you get, and I’ll jump in if anything doesn’t go smoothly. You’ve got this!
If my response helped, please mark it as an Accepted Solution! ✅ It helps others and spreads support. 💙 Also, tapping "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" makes a big difference! Thanks! 😊
Take care, and have an amazing day!
