hello, I downloaded here HP Photosmart C3180 Multifunction Printer the two programs, both the software and the utility, towards the end of the installation opens a window that says " you cannot run this app on this Bing Bar device
Microsoft, because it causes security or performance issues in windows. a new version may be available. contact your software vendor to get an updated version to run in this version of windows" .
I am not in s mode, also in " hp solution center" I see a logo with an ' f ' and a blue round with an 'i' and you can see nothing:
Flash technology is now outdated and not usable, can you recommend the right current software for my printer, please?
I started " print and scan doctor " and it only detects a scanning problem " this scanning device does not support the ' Set Scan In. dialog box.'" and sends me back to click on 'hp solution center' where I have the white page with the logo F (Flash).
I don't know what to do because I understand that the software is already up to date from the printer site, right? Thank you.
The printer is connected to the pc via usb cable, also I have wifi

Hi @federica23b,
I'd like to help!
Adobe has stopped supporting the Flash player that was required for HP Solution Centre. There is no update on new software as of now.
You can print using Windows built-in drivers. Follow the steps below:
• Go to Control Panel - Devices and Printers - Click on "Add a printer" and follow the on-screen instructions.
• When the page prompts for the drivers, select "Windows update". The driver list will be updated.
• Click HP, Hewlett Packard, or Hewlett-Packard in the Manufacturer pane, and then click the name of your printer in the Printers pane.
Refer to this document HP Printers - Installing and Using the Windows Built-in Print Driver for help.
Note: If the printer is not found in the list, try Deskjet 990c or Deskjet 6980 to install the printer as these are the generic printer drivers.
You can scan using windows scan, or Microsoft paint-
On Paint -
- Open Paint. Not all models are compatible with all listed operating systems. ...
- Click File → From Scanner or Camera. If File is not available on the menu bar, click Alt on your keyboard, to display it.
- If prompted, select your scanner from the list and click OK.
- Choose your desired scan options. ...
- Click Scan.
Scan app-
Once your scanner is installed, use the Windows Scan app to scan a picture or document. Here's how:
Note: Need to install the Windows Scan app? You can get the app at Microsoft Store.
- Make sure your scanner is turned on.
- In the search box on the taskbar, type Windows Scan, and then select Scan from the results.
- Do one of the following:
- Place the item you want to scan face down on the scanner's flatbed and close the cover.
- Place the item you want to scan in the scanner's document feeder.
- On the Scan page, do the following:
- Under Scanner, select the scanner you want to use.
- Under Source, select the location you prefer to scan from.
- Under File type, select the type of file you want the scan to be saved as. For example, you can save the file in different file formats—such as JPEG, Bitmap, and PNG.
- Select Show more to show the Save file to options.
- Under Save file to, browse to the location where you want to save the scan.
- Select Scan at the bottom of the screen to scan your document or picture.
- After your scan is finished, select View to see the scanned file before you save it, or select Close to save it. You can edit the scanned document or picture in the preview that appears when you select View.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
