As mentioned in my previous post, this model printer is not compatible with HP Smart app. Use the full-feature printer driver.

 

If the issue persists, I think this issue needs some additional technical assistance that can be better provided through one-on-one interaction or a remote session with our HP Support team.

Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region for further assistance. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

@User032022, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

This model printer is not compatible with the HP Smart app due to its age.

 

To know how to connect the printer using a USB cable, refer to - HP printer setup (USB cable)

 

Click here to download the HP Full-feature driver.

Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.

Dear Kumar,

 

Still same issue in windows 10 64bit when apply usb block policy by domain 

get this message (the installation of this device is forbidden by system policy. Contact your system administrator. 

the printer connected by usb cable

i need help  hp smart installation utility  software  for hp smart install usb device disable

This means that the computer you are using is not allowing the installation as you are not the Admin.

If this is a company owned computer, you will have to talk to IT department. This is not an issue with the printer.

 

This model printer is not compatible with HP Smart app.

Dear Kumar

 

I have admin rights printer working fine but when i apply policy block USB after restart not working printer because (HP Smart install usb device)  is block by group policy this model printer has built-in printer driver  like (hp laserjet pro400m401a) printer

this model has option by button  i can on - off hp smart install.

hp LaserJet (p1102) this model printer available software i can disable -enable by software(HP Smart install usb device)
