Product: hp 7740 printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

trying to setup printer after windows reset.  When I try to scan, it goes to a log in page.  When I log in, it goes to a page saying "Applying account information" and just stays there.  more than 5 minutes now.

Hi,

Let's download and install the Full Feature Software for your printer:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/OJ7740/Full_Webpack-40.15.1230-OJ7740_Full_Webpac...

 

Once completing the installation, click the HP Officejet Pro 7740 icon on your desktop and click on Scan a Document or Photo, then scan using the HP Scan software.
