@Arriexz, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Smart App Issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP Smart app is buffering and not opening, here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

1. Check Internet Connection

Ensure that you have a stable internet connection. Although you mentioned trying WiFi toggling, confirm that other applications are working properly on the same network.

2. Restart Your Device

Sometimes, simply restarting your laptop can resolve temporary issues.

3. Update the HP Smart App

Check if there is an update available for the HP Smart app. Update it via the Microsoft Store or the app store on your device.

4. Uninstall and Reinstall the HP Smart App

Uninstall the HP Smart app and then reinstall it:

Uninstall HP Smart App:

  • Go to Settings > Apps.
  • Find the HP Smart app in the list and click Uninstall.

Reinstall HP Smart App:

  • Open the Microsoft Store.
  • Search for HP Smart and install it.

5. Check for Windows Updates

Make sure your Windows operating system is up to date:

  1. Click on the Start menu.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Update & Security.
  4. Click on Windows Update and then Check for updates.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
