impossible to save a scan into a folder : mac os sierra & hp photosmart 5520

after updating to OS Sierra, i'm able to scan documents, rotate them, ..., but the button to save a scan to my macbook  is not 'clickable'.

the button is visible, but light grey, and I can't click the button to save.

i deleted the printer from the macbook, downloaded the most recent driver 10.12 from hp site, but apparently for OS Mavericks

Is there already a driver for os sierra??

Hi,

What application you scan from?

If it is Image Capture or Pritners & Scanners, uncheck the box to scan a custom size and select a specific scan size, or mark the required area over the scan previe using your mouse, then check if the Save button becomes available.

Additionally try installing HP Easy Scan below:

Can you successfuly scan from HP Easy Scan and click on Send To > Folder? the app will be installed within the Applications folder.

I scan with te HP Scan Tool, from the instalation pack.

Install and use HP Easy Scan from my link above, HP Scan is incompatible with Sierra.

I have exactly the same problem. I did the upgrade yesterday and today I am trying to scan a document and  to save it as a PDF.  The "Save" does not work and stays light grey. The printer is an OfficeJet Pro
