HP Recommended

The ink compartment on my HP Envy 6052 printer won't open. It seems to be "electronically locked". It opens about an inch, and then the right, front amber light comes on, and it's stuck. I've tried all of the tricks of unplugging the unit, turning off the unit, etc, to no avail. It's out of warranty, so I can't call tech support.
