Hi @Frhrwa,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand you’re installing the HP 5102 printer and it’s asking to scan an alignment page, but you didn’t find one in the box. Let’s go through what’s happening and what to do next.

Understand where the alignment page comes from
The alignment page is not included in the box.
The printer prints the alignment page automatically once ink and paper are installed.

Make sure paper is loaded correctly
Load plain white paper into the input tray.
Adjust the paper guides so they rest against the paper stack.

Allow the printer to print the alignment page
After installing the ink cartridges and closing the access door, wait a moment.
The printer should automatically print the alignment page on its own.

If the alignment page does not print
Press the Black or Color button once to prompt the printer.
Some models wait for a user action before printing the alignment page.

Scan the printed alignment page
Place the printed alignment page face down on the scanner glass.
Align it with the corner markers, then close the scanner lid.

Start the scan
Press the Scan or Color button (as instructed by the printer lights).
The printer will scan the page and complete the alignment.

Wait for alignment to finish
Do not turn the printer off during this process.
When alignment is complete, the printer will be ready to print normally.

If alignment fails
Repeat the scan once more using the same printed page.
If needed, restart the printer and it will reprint the alignment page.A

I hope this helps.
