Hi @mymelo211,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for sharing the image. I can see the HP Smart app on your device showing “Printer Error” during the test print step, and you mentioned that all lights on the printer’s control panel are glowing again after a factory reset. This indicates the printer is stuck in an error state, likely due to a hardware or firmware issue.

What This Means

When all lights stay on, and the printer immediately shows “Printer Error” after setup, it usually points to:

  • Firmware corruption during reset or update
  • Internal hardware fault (control panel or logic board)
  • Cartridge or printhead initialization failure

Recommended Steps

Step 1: Power Reset

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from power.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Plug it back in and turn it on.

Step 2: Check for Obstructions

  • Open the ink access door and ensure the printhead carriage moves freely.
  • Remove and reseat ink cartridges.

Step 3: Update Firmware

Step 4: Perform Semi-Full Reset

  • This is a deeper reset than a factory reset and often clears persistent errors.
  • You’ll need to access the hidden service menu (HP support can guide you through this).

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
