Thanks for sharing your setup. If your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw is no longer working on your M1 Mac Mini running macOS 15.5 (Sequoia), it's likely due to driver compatibility issues with the latest macOS version.

Here's How to Fix It

1. Remove Old Printer Drivers

  • Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
  • Select your HP printer and click Remove Printer (-).
  • Then go to Library > Printers > HP and delete the HP folder (if present).


2. Download the Latest HP Printer Drivers


3. Use AirPrint Instead (Recommended for macOS)

  • macOS 15.5 supports AirPrint, which allows printing without installing HP drivers.
  • Re-add the printer:
    • Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners > Add Printer.
    • Select your HP printer (it should appear automatically if on the same network).
    • Choose AirPrint as the driver.


4. Reset the Printing System (if needed)

  • Right-click (or Control-click) in the Printers & Scanners window.
  • Choose Reset printing system.
  • Reboot your Mac and re-add the printer.
