HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer

I need to know how to set up my Officejet Pro 7740 to automatically print the right sized paper.  I have regular sized 8.5X11 in the top tray and legal in the second tray.  I work as a notary so a large document coming over may have a mix of legal and regular paper.  How can I set up my printer so that it detects the paper size from the document and prints from the correct tray?  Some of these packages can be 190 pages and a mix of sizes.  Thanks.

What format are the documents, if they are PDF, then you need to set Acrobat to print based on PDF size

Then you need to ensure that you tell the driver to select paper source automatically.

You also need to ensure that you have the paper sizes and types set properly on the printer itself. So one has to be set letter the other legal. You cannot use a paper size of any as this will stop it from working.
