My printer will not print colour - only greyscale- printing preferences locked

The "locked" preferences / shortcuts are normal.

Any of these should be able to be selected and then changed to suit the current job.

Where supported, a new / custom shortcut can be created to save the job parameters for use again later.

What is not normal is the lack of color print choice.

 

Try the specific doctor version recommended in the following TKB.

Symptoms:  No color options are shown under Printing Preferences when printing to a network-connected printer from a Windows 10 PC

Solution:  Download and Install Doctor version 5.0.6 > HPPSdr_5.0.6.exe

Details: Windows10 - No Color option available when printing to a network connected printer
