making calls from elitebook840

I want to use the elitebook 840 G6 for calls.  So I downloaded and installed HP XMM7360 WWAN Driver.

But I still don't find the MOBILE BROADBAND driver.

So anyone can help?

Hi:

Since you are asking that question, your notebook is most likely one of the 90% that do not have the optional and expensive WWAN adapter that actually connects to the cellular service.

All the SIM card does is to authorize you to use your carrier's cellular network.

All 840 G6's have a SIM card slot.

Go to the device manager.   Click to expand the network adapters device manager category.

You must see one of these WWAN adapters listed there or the SIM card is useless.
