manual duplexing

Instructions for manual duplexing not working. It says to select manual duplexing and print, then turn the stack over and hit ok and prints the 2nd side of all pages. But when I turn over stack it is not in correct order to print 2nd side. Having to reshuffle pages before reinserting for 2nd sides to print. Anyone else with this problem?

To manually duplex (print on both sides of the paper) using the HP LaserJet Pro M15w Printer, you can follow these steps.

• Load the paper: Make sure you have enough plain paper loaded in the input tray. Adjust the paper width guides to fit the paper size properly.
• Open the document: Open the document you want to print and go to the "Print" option.
• Access printer properties: Click on the "Printer Properties" or "Printer Preferences" option, usually found in the print settings or print dialog box.
• Select duplex printing: Look for a section or tab labeled "Finishing" or "Print on Both Sides." Enable the option for manual duplexing or short-edge binding. This setting may vary depending on the printer driver or software you are using.
• Print the odd pages: Once the settings are applied, click on the "Print" button to start the print job. The printer will print all the odd-numbered pages of the document.
• Reload the paper: After the odd pages are printed, the printer will pause and display a message or indicator light to instruct you to reload the printed pages. Take the printed pages and place them back into the input tray, making sure they are properly aligned.
• Continue printing: Once the paper is reloaded, press the appropriate button or click on "Continue" in the printer software to resume the print job. The printer will then print all the even-numbered pages on the reverse side of the odd pages.
• Complete the print job: After all the pages are printed, remove the printed document from the output tray.

Your instructions are incorrect.

I figured it out.

You forgot one important step. After printing the odd pages, I have to resort the pages before inserting them to print the even pages. The odd pages come out upside down with page one on the bottom, then 3 then page 5 on top.

The correct instructions:

1. I select manual 2 sided option and I select my page range 1-6, hit print

2. Pages 1,3,5 come out upside down with 1 on bottom and 5 on top.

3. Resort/shuffle the pages so the 5 is on bottom, 3 in middle and 1 on top upside down.

3. Then load pages in upside down again with 1 on top, 3 middle and 5 on bottom

4. Hit continue.

5. Now page 1 is automatically fed 1st and page 2 prints on it's back, the page 3 is fed through and page 4 prints on its back, finally page 5 is fed through with page 6 printed on its back. All correct.

If I followed your instructions then after the odd pages printed, page 1 on bottom and page 5 on top. Then page 5 would have fed 1st with page 2 on its back incorrectly etc..

One final note: The manual for this printer is also very incorrect.
