Product: deskjet plus 4155
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I have a new hp deskjet pluss 4155 printer and the printer is continually 

has like a movement sound coming from printer. its like trying to clean but

not sure. I would like the printer to be quiet when I am not using it. Has anyone 

experienced this. Perhaps it just a setting that I am missing

I would like to help

 

Occasionally the printer will do an automatic printhead cleaning  for maintenance

 

I suggest you keep the Printer Firmware updated and let me know how it goes
