It sounds like your HP OfficeJet Pro 8130e is stuck in a loop where it asks for a driver update but already has the latest version.
This issue can sometimes be caused by a corrupted driver or a Windows update conflict. Here’s how to fix it:
1. Restart Your Printer & Computer
- Power off your printer and computer.
- Unplug the printer for 60 seconds, then turn it back on.
- Restart your computer and try printing again.
2. Reinstall the Printer Driver
- Visit the HP Support page for your OfficeJet Pro 8130e.
- Download the latest driver and firmware.
- Uninstall the existing driver:
- Open Device Manager → Printers.
- Right-click on your printer and select Uninstall device.
- Restart your computer and install the new driver.
3. Manually Install the Driver via Device Manager
- Open Device Manager → Printers.
- Right-click your printer and select Update Driver.
- Choose Browse my computer for drivers and point it to the downloaded driver folder.
4. Check Printer Connection
- If using USB, try a different port.
- If using Wi-Fi, ensure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer.
