Hi @Pegh1947
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
If your HP DeskJet 2755 printer is not accepting print jobs from your phone and you're seeing messages related to the spooler, here's how you can troubleshoot the issue:
1. Restart the Printer and Phone
- Power off your printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.
- Restart your phone as well.
2. Check Printer Connectivity
- Ensure that your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your phone. You can usually check this on the printer’s control panel.
- Confirm that Wi-Fi Direct (if used) is enabled on the printer.
3. Update HP Smart App
- Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app on your phone. Update it through the app store if needed.
4. Clear the Print Queue on Windows
If the spooler issue is more related to your Windows system, you can clear the print queue on your computer:
- On your Windows PC, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Select your HP DeskJet 2755 and click on Open queue.
- If there are stuck print jobs, cancel them.
5. Restart the Print Spooler Service
If you have access to your Windows PC, restarting the print spooler service can help:
- Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type services.msc and press Enter.
- In the Services window, scroll down to Print Spooler.
- Right-click on it and select Restart.
6. Use AirPrint (if applicable)
If you’re using an Apple device, you can try using AirPrint:
- Make sure the printer supports AirPrint and is selected as the printer in the app you’re trying to print from.
7. Try a Different App
- Try printing from a different app on your phone to see if the issue is app-specific.
8. Factory Reset the Printer (if necessary)
If none of the above steps work, you can consider a factory reset of the printer. Refer to the user manual or HP’s support website for instructions.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
