Hi @BySweetie,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To add your HP ENVY Inspire 7955e All-in-One Printer to the "myHP" application on your laptop, follow these steps.

Ensure Your Printer Is Ready

  • Power on the printer.
  • Connect it to the same Wi-Fi network as your laptop.
  • Make sure the printer's display shows it is connected to the network.

Open the MyHP Application

  • Launch the "myHP" application on your laptop.
  • If you don’t have it installed, you can download it from the HP website.

Add the Printer

  1. In the MyHP application, look for an option like "Add Printer" or "Set up a new printer" on the main screen or in the settings menu.
  2. Select the option and allow the application to search for available printers on your network.
  3. Once your HP ENVY Inspire 7955e appears in the list of available devices, select it and click Add or Set Up.

Follow the Setup Wizard

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. This might include:
    • Logging in with your HP account.
    • Setting up additional features like HP+ or Instant Ink (optional).

Test the Printer

  • Once the printer is added, print a test page from the application to confirm the connection.

If the printer doesn’t show up in the list:

  • Verify Network Connection: Ensure the printer and laptop are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Manually Add Printer: Look for an option to add the printer by entering its IP address (found on the printer's control panel under network settings).

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
