Hi @BySweetie,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To add your HP ENVY Inspire 7955e All-in-One Printer to the "myHP" application on your laptop, follow these steps.
Ensure Your Printer Is Ready
- Power on the printer.
- Connect it to the same Wi-Fi network as your laptop.
- Make sure the printer's display shows it is connected to the network.
Open the MyHP Application
- Launch the "myHP" application on your laptop.
- If you don’t have it installed, you can download it from the HP website.
Add the Printer
- In the MyHP application, look for an option like "Add Printer" or "Set up a new printer" on the main screen or in the settings menu.
- Select the option and allow the application to search for available printers on your network.
- Once your HP ENVY Inspire 7955e appears in the list of available devices, select it and click Add or Set Up.
Follow the Setup Wizard
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. This might include:
- Logging in with your HP account.
- Setting up additional features like HP+ or Instant Ink (optional).
Test the Printer
- Once the printer is added, print a test page from the application to confirm the connection.
If the printer doesn’t show up in the list:
- Verify Network Connection: Ensure the printer and laptop are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Manually Add Printer: Look for an option to add the printer by entering its IP address (found on the printer's control panel under network settings).
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
