Hi @doc423,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are looking for the driver. Here’s the official HP driver page for your HP DeskJet 2800e printer:

🔗 HP DeskJet 2800e All-in-One Printer series | HP® Support

How to Download and Install the Driver

1. Open the HP Driver Page

  • Click the link above to access the official HP support page for your printer.

2. Select Your Operating System

  • The page should automatically detect your OS (e.g., Windows 10/11 or macOS).
  • If it doesn’t, click "Choose a different OS" and select the correct version.

3. Download Software

  • You’ll see options like:
    • HP Smart (recommended utility for printing, scanning, and updates)
    • Full Feature Software and Drivers
    • Basic Drivers
  • For full functionality (scanning, firmware updates), choose:
    • HP Easy Start or Full Feature Software and Drivers package.
  • Click Download.

4. Install the Software

  • Run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • During setup, connect the printer:
    • Via USB when prompted, or
    • Over Wi-Fi, the HP Smart app will guide you.

5. Verify Installation

  • Print a test page and ensure the printer shows Ready status.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
