I am trying to set up scan on my hp printer but do not know how or where I can get the network path to set up

• Some of the more sophisticated printers support Digital Send - SMTP - Scan to Network and other specialty Scan features.
• HP Smart - Shortcuts - includes Saving content to supported Cloud Account folders
• The full driver printer software includes HP Scan and saving content to a local or mapped network destination.

Following is a common solution that is relevant to Windows and having installed the full driver printer software for your printer.

HP Scan / HP Universal Scan

There are two types of HP Scan software --

• Original format - installed as part of the full driver printer software
• "New" format, part of the full driver OR installed standalone -- This version / type of HP Scan also known as HP Universal Scan.  This version / type of HP Scan / HP Universal Scan software is both Model AND Operating System dependent)
