new Dell desktop not recognizing my HP Envy 5530. Reinstalled several times, (uninstall each time as well.)

>By-default, W11 has "let Windows manage my printer" Enabled in it's Settings. [W11 'connects' your printer wirelessly using it's WSD protocol, which is flaky, and, conflicts with MFG software.]

>When you say you "installed" your 5530 several times, do you mean using the HP Smart app stuff??

>You should be aware that HP itself says, in their Store, Envy 5530 models are "Discontinued". [I.e. - too many problems reported by Users; too many Warranty RMAs... so HP dumped it.]

>Recommend printers be connected directly via a USB Cable to one's PC, always. Avoids headaches.
