non HP cartridges

Apparently my software was automatically updated and now my non HP cartridges won't work. Please send me a link to my original software with an explanation how to install it and overwrite my new software. Also please let me know how to turn off automatic updates - thanks

I am sorry we cannot give you the answer you want.

This printer was never intended to be used with Non-HP cartridges.

At the least, the ink you use in this printer must have an embedded HP chip (in every ink cartridge).

I will forward your concern to our Moderators -- there is not another answer but perhaps an agent can explain in a way you will find useful even if not satisfactory.
