II want to do printer maintenance. When I tap on settings on the display panel, the only thing that appears is printer model, IP address, wifi info, and something about bluetooth.

@IabhoreIT, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printer Maintenance Access!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you're unable to find the printer maintenance options through the settings on your printer's display panel, there may be alternative ways to access these functions. Here are a few suggestions:

Access Through the Embedded Web Server (EWS):

  • Connect the printer to the same network as your computer.
  • Open a web browser on your computer and enter the printer’s IP address into the address bar.
  • This will open the Embedded Web Server where you can find various maintenance options.

Using the HP Smart App:

  • Download and install the HP Smart App on your mobile device or computer if you haven't already.
  • Use the app to connect to your printer and explore the maintenance sections.

Printer Software on Computer:

  • If you have installed the printer software on your computer, open the software and navigate to the printer maintenance settings.
  • From here, you might be able to perform tasks such as printhead cleaning, alignment, or status reports.

Direct Access Through Computer:

  • In Windows, you can find some maintenance tasks in the Devices and Printers section found in the Control Panel. Right-click your printer, select "Printing Preferences" or "Properties," then look for a "Maintenance" or "Services" tab.
  • For macOS, go to "System Preferences" > "Printers & Scanners," select your printer, then click on "Options & Supplies," followed by "Utility."

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
