OfficeJet 3833
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Some .pdf files will not print text using our OfficeJet 3833.  I have installed HP SMart to install the printer.  All other documents print without issue, such as Word, Excel, etc.  IRS forms which are .pdf files will print, but if I download other .pdf files such as my insurance cards, they will not print.  I did not have any issues with my previous computer running Win 7 Pro.

If I download the file that does not print, and use a public computer it will print fine.  I attempted to update the driver, but it says I have the latest version.  I have also checked to make sure the default programs associated with .pdf files are set to use Adobe Acrobat DC.  I am at a loss as to what I can do to resolve this issue.  Any ideas?

Looks like the black cartridge was not vented and I replaced it with a new one.  Printing all types of files now; go figure.

I have uninstalled the printer and added it back and now it does not even print Word documents.  I am going further backward and would appreciate any direction someone might have for me.
