officejet 7610 not allowing color option

I have followed the suggested solutions for getting the color option back into my settings for my officejet 7610 and it will not give me the option on either of my computers once I installed the new driver  pack.  I have cleared the temp files, uninstalled all drivers and printers and then re-installed the printer pack and printer and the option to print color is not in the selections tab.

Hi,

Try following below version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy (Copy1) and check for any difference.

You may set the added copy as default from Start > Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.

Click the Copy1 queue and select Manage, then click the Set Default button at the top.
