HP Recommended

i purchased an officejet pro 7740 with hp 955 ink. couple of the inks ran out so i purchased new ones and they gave me 953inks.. it shows on the box that its 7740 compatible as well. upon reading some of the comments in the support site. it shows that i need a regional reset.

 

Perhaps anyone can help me. very much appreciate any help i could get.
