- on set up step 3 cannot register, no internet?

on new or renewed setup of printer step 3 go to internet and register printer. Error occurs indicating no internet. However the internet connection is on and available for all other functions including other printer functions. Has any one run into this problem and found a solution?

To assist you better, where do you see this error?
Are you using the HP Smart app?
Restart the wireless router, the printer, and the PC
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue
Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.

All the steps you describe were done over and over. Even using scan doctor & HP smart. The printer works fine but I am refused entry to my HP connection either during setup or when using HP Smart or from the printers web page in order to edit profile. No program or HP technician seems to help. I will be using other printers in the future, but not HP.
