Hi @DaBeastly

Welcome to the HP Support Community! Thanks for posting your query!

We're here to help you get back up and running.

I am sorry for the frustration you are facing with the password inside your printer not working. I understand how disruptive it feels when you’re blocked from accessing the printer’s features. To narrow this down before moving into solutions, could you share a bit more detail:

  • Is this the administrator password for the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS), or the Wi‑Fi Direct / network password used to connect devices?
  • Did the password stop working after a firmware update, reset, or setup change, or has it never worked since you first set it?
  • Are you entering the password directly on the printer’s control panel, or from a computer/mobile device?
  • If it’s a Wi‑Fi Direct password, are you seeing the printer’s SSID broadcast when you try to connect?
  • If it’s the EWS password, do you recall setting a custom one, or are you trying the default?

These details will help isolate whether the issue is related to printer security settings, wireless connectivity, or account access.

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
