Hi  @dannyray,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thank you for reaching out. I understand that you would like to scan multiple photos in a single scan session and then crop and save each photo individually, rather than scanning each photo one at a time. I'll be happy to help.

To better understand the issue, could you kindly provide the following details?

  • The exact HP printer/scanner model number. (Link for steps - click here )
  • Which scanning application you are using (HP App , HP Scan, Windows Scan, or another application).
  • Whether you are scanning from the flatbed glass or the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF).
  • Are all photos being scanned into a single image, or is the software unable to detect and separate the individual photos?
  • Has this feature worked correctly before, or is this the first time you are trying it?

Additionally, this appears to be a known scenario that has been discussed and resolved by other HP users. You may find the information in this HP Community thread helpful - Click here

I hope this helps.

I'm an HP Employee.
