Hi @FrankTruj

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the touchscreen on your HP Photosmart D7260 is not responding and you're seeing a flashing yellow exclamation mark, here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue:

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Open the printer and check for any paper jams or obstructions in the paper path. Clear any jams you find.

Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed. Remove them and reinstall them to ensure a good connection.

Check Connections:

  • Make sure all cables (USB, power) are securely connected. If you’re using a USB hub, try connecting directly to the computer.

Reset the Printer:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for 60 seconds, then reconnect the power cord.

Inspect the Touchscreen:

  • If the touchscreen still doesn’t respond, look for any physical damage or dirt on the screen that might be interfering with touch sensitivity.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • If you can access the printer settings, check for any firmware updates that might resolve touchscreen issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
