How do I print PDF on normal A4 paper without borders?

HP Smart software says that there are conflicts detected when I select borderless option and normal paper at the same time.

Hi @Kikst ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the HP Smart Tank 580 printer may not support printing borderless on normal A4 paper, as some printers are limited to specific paper types (like photo paper) for borderless printing. When you attempt to print borderless on A4 paper, the software detects a conflict because borderless printing typically requires special paper.

However, you can try the following steps to print your PDF on normal A4 paper without borders:

  1. Open the PDF file in a PDF viewer (like Adobe Acrobat or your browser).
  2. Click on Print (Ctrl + P or right-click the PDF and select Print).
  3. Select HP Smart Tank 580 as the printer.
  4. Go to Print Settings or Advanced Settings.
  5. Look for the Page Sizing & Handling section.
  6. Select Actual Size or None (No Scaling) (depending on your PDF viewer).
  7. In the Printer Settings, make sure the Borderless option is not selected.
  8. In Page Layout, choose Portrait or Landscape, depending on the orientation of the document.
  9. Print the document.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
