print in reverse order

I like to print in revere order.  page 2 then page 1

I am trying to print 2 pages in 1 a4 size sheet,

and when I use the setting 2 pages per sheet, the printer printer prints the 1st page on 2nd half of the a4 page

I need to reverse the order to print this.

Print PDF - Adobe Reader DC

Open PDF file in  Adobe Reader DC

Select Options on the main menu.

Printing Type and Order

Need more than one page on a sheet of paper?

Select to Page Sizing and Handling = Multiple

Select the number of pages per sheet of paper

Select / Set the Page(s) to print and the order in which to print the selected pages

Select Pages to Print > Pages > Type in the pages to be printed in the order to be printed

OR

Optionally Select Pages to Print (and leave in original order)

AND

Select Page Order and use one of the options to "Reverse"

Reminders

• Open Properties to set Shortcut, paper size & type, source
• Click OK to save changes in Properties and return to the main print menu
• Multiple page document?  Print two pages to test...
• Adjust / Check Orientation and Duplex (2-sided) on the main menu (and not in Properties).

Open HP Smart

Click to Print documents

Open the document to be printed

Adjust the options on the main print menu

Optionally Select Page Range > Enter the pages in the order to be printed

Next,

Open More Settings

Select a Shortcut (for example, Everyday Printing)

Scroll down to Layout > Select and Adjust Pages per Sheet

If you have not already selected Page Range / Order

Scroll down to Advanced > Slide bar to select Reverse Page Order

Click OK to save change(s) in More Settings and return to main menu

When ready Click Print

Thank you for the detailed reply. I use sumatra PDF. I do not use Adobe PDF, And i need option for other apps too. 

I will try setting up with HP smart app. Do you have the link for this App? on windows 10 64bit

You are welcome.

I don't use Sumatra and have no specific suggestions for its use - If the software is "generally" like other PDF software, at least Page Range might be available so you can type in the pages and the order you want to print.  ?

NOTES: 

• Read FAQ > What are the requirements to set up a printer using the HP Smart app?

• Disconnect from Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection before downloading.

• Turn on Wi-Fi on your computer or mobile device and connect to your network. If the computer is connected to the network with an Ethernet cable, temporarily disconnect the cable and use the Wi-Fi connection during the setup.

• HP Smart requires that you sign into the application using your HP Account credentials.

• When working through a browser to access HP Smart, be sure you have Cookies enabled.  If cookies are enabled and you are having trouble, clear Cache and Cookies.   And / Or … Try a different browser – assign that browser as the Default. (Note:  Chrome not working?  Use / Assign a different default browser.)

• Where possible, HP Smart benefits (likes) having the Full Feature Software / full driver printer software installed.  For example, full driver provides access to Shortcuts and Printing Preferences.

Sumatra is a generic pdf reader and open a general window for printing.

As you mentioned, to type in the page number to print, I will direct you to my first post again, as when I select to print "page 1" in a "2 page in one" setting of the printer, it prints page 2 (which is blank) then page 1, which is the cutoff for a5 size paper.

This printer is severely restricted in what it supports - there is not, for example, an automatic duplex feature.   Page size, paper turning, switching, or managing more complicated tasks is not something for which I can offer any reasonable advice.

If you are convinced your software and printer can complete the task,

If, for example, you have created and printed this same job type in the past,

The issue might be related to the full feature software that provides the foundation for the printing app you are using. 

If the page order cannot printer correctly in other than just Sumatra, then it is possible the underlying cause is corrupted printer software.  You could try uninstalling and reloading the main printer software.

In so much that nothing I have offered is the least bit useful,  I suspect I cannot help at all.

This customer wants to print 2 sheets on an A4 paper - and, from what I can understand, customer also wants to reverse the order.  After looking at the user manual again, I'm not convinced this printer is "up to task".   I could just as easily miss something minor and vital to the process.

Any practical words of wisdom?

Any update on my query? my screen shots are removed, should I add new ones?

[Content Removed]  << as you see in this,  I can fix this issue in MS word by changing the type location,

but in other apps, It does the opposite, it prints the blank page first then the printed page.
