OfficeJet Pro 6970
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I would like to print on cards that are exactly 100 mm * 150 mm in size with my HP OfficeJet Pro 6970.

However, I could not set up the printer size correctly, since the result is always that the picture is not exactly fitting the page.

In the printer-server-settings I created a "true" 10 cm * 15 cm custom page size.

width:10 cm, height:15 cm, left/top/bottom/right: 0 cm

The predefined '4" * 6" / 10 * 15 cm' is actually using the inch size, so it's 10.16 cm * 15.24 cm

Then I go to the printer, put my 10*15 cm paper in the tray and choose "10x15cm" on the touch-screen.

I use Inkscape to create a 10*15 cm canvas, add some rectangles for testing, and call the print dialog.

There, I go to printer options, to the paper-tab, choose my "true" 10*15 format and check "border-less" and "HP-photo-paper" (otherwise not borderless).

Now I print and 3-5 mm of my image is cropped off on each side.

If I disable borderless, the same frame is cropped off, but a white border appears around the image.

When I tried to put everything to the 4" * 6" format, the paper was basically missed with only a quarter of the image on the paper and lots of ink on the printer-rolls.

Did I miss a setting?

Do I need to add/subtract something from the paper format size if the physical size is actually 100 mm * 150 mm?
