Hi @sam1103 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet 2700 printer is no longer appearing on the HP Smart app, you may need to re-add it. Here are steps you can follow to try and resolve the issue:

Check Printer Connection:

  • Ensure that your printer is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your mobile device or computer.

Restart Printer and App:

  • Turn off your printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
  • Close the HP Smart app on your mobile device and reopen it.

Reconnect Printer:

  • Open the HP Smart app.
  • Tap the "+" icon or the "Add Printer" option.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect your HP DeskJet 2700 to the app.

Check Wi-Fi Connection:

  • Make sure that your mobile device or computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network that the printer is connected to.

Reinstall HP Smart App:

  • If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the HP Smart app on your mobile device.

Factory Reset the Printer:

  • If none of the above steps work, you can try factory resetting your printer. Keep in mind that this will erase any custom settings.
    • Press and hold the Cancel button and the Wireless button on your printer simultaneously for about five seconds until the Power light blinks.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.-
