Hi there, I have trouble with my printer driver. My operating system is Windows 11. Unfortunately, it was not recognized by Windows 11. It has worked on Windows 10. What do I have to do to use this printer in the new operating system?

Hi @ali386,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To resolve the issue with your HP LaserJet 2014 printer on Windows 11, follow these steps to install the correct driver:
Step 1: Download the Driver
- Visit HP Support: Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page.
- Search for Your Printer: Enter "HP LaserJet 2014" in the search bar and select your printer model from the list.
- Choose Your Operating System: Select "Windows 11" from the operating system drop-down menu. If there isn't a specific driver for Windows 11, the Windows 10 driver may work.
- Download the Driver: Download the latest available driver for your printer.
Step 2: Install the Driver
- Run the Installer: Locate the downloaded driver file and double-click it to start the installation process.
- Follow Instructions: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. Restart your computer if prompted.
Step 3: Add the Printer
- Open Settings: Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
- Add a Printer: Click on Add a printer or scanner and let Windows search for available printers.
- Select Your Printer: If your HP LaserJet 2014 appears in the list, select it and follow the instructions to complete the setup.
Step 4: Manually Add the Printer (if not detected automatically)
- Open Control Panel: Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Add Printer: Click on Add a printer at the top.
- Choose Port: Select Use an existing port (such as USB001 if connected via USB) and click Next.
- Install the Driver:
- Select Have Disk.
- Browse to the folder where you downloaded the driver and select the appropriate .inf file.
- Follow the prompts to install the driver.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Execution of ljP2010-HB-pnp-win64-en.exe stopped on Waiting for user to connect the Device/Connect the USB cable. I did connect the printer, but I have no other option but to Cancel. It looks like the connection was not detected.
