Hi @ali460,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Uninstall Any Old Drivers First

Let’s clean up anything interfering.

Press Windows + R → type: appwiz.cpl → press Enter.

Look for HP software like “HP Photosmart” or “HP Solution Center” and uninstall it.

Restart your PC.

Download the Correct Driver Manually

Since the installer’s taking you to a DNS error, we’ll grab it directly instead of relying on auto-download.

🔗 Use this direct link to the HP Photosmart C3180 drivers for Windows 10 32-bit:

https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-photosmart-c3100-all-in-one-printer-series/11536...

(Select Windows 10 (32-bit) if it's not auto-detected)

Download “HP Print and Scan Doctor” or Full Feature Software and Driver, whichever is available.

Install in Compatibility Mode (if needed)

If the driver still won’t install:

Right-click the .exe file you downloaded.

Click Properties > Compatibility tab.

Check "Run this program in compatibility mode" → Select Windows 7.

Apply and run it as Administrator.

Restart Printer Spooler (just in case)

Press Windows + R → type: services.msc

Scroll down to Print Spooler

Right-click > Restart

Add Printer Manually (Optional)

If driver installed but still not printing:

Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners > Add a printer

Wait for your HP to show up or click “The printer that I want isn’t listed”

Choose Add a local printer → Select correct port (usually USB) → Pick HP C3180 from list.

I hope this helps.

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍

Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀
