I was just wondering how to download a printer driver from HP's website. Whenever I try to download the driver and then run it a message pops up saying that I'm trying to download an app that isn't Microsoft verified. Can you please let me know how to get past that? Thank you!

What is the laptop's installed operating system?
Which "HP's website"?
Can you provide the hyprelink to the download web page?

I have Windows 11 Home version 22H2
This is the HP website that I was trying to download the driver from:
HP Photosmart C4400 All-in-One Printer series Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support
I clicked on the tab that said 'Open All' next to the where it said 'All Software and Drivers' and then clicked Download. It would download onto my computer but then when I tried to open it and run it is when I would get the message saying that it wasn't verified by Microsoft

OK.
Here are the steps to follow which will rectify that issue.
"
- Go to “Settings” .
- Scroll down and select “Security” or “Privacy”.
- Look for the option labeled “Unknown Sources” or “Install Apps from Unknown Sources”.
- Toggle the switch or check the box to enable it. "

I'm sorry could you please let me know which Settings to go to? I looked both at the settings in my web browser and the one on my operating system and was able to find options labeled Security or Privacy but I never did see an option to allow for apps from unknown sources

Ah. Windows 11 Home.
The Home version offers a limited control set over the OS.

Sounds good, thank you for walking me through this process. I just have one more question. Do you know of a way to download the driver for the printer through the Microsoft App store or do you think that going the route or switching out of S mode is the only way to make this work? Thanks again!

Try the drivers from the Microsoft Update catalog at the link below this line.
