1. Set HP ENVY 5530 as Default Printer
- Open Control Panel → Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on HP ENVY 5530 and select Set as Default Printer.
- Try printing again.
2. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download HP Print and Scan Doctor from HP Support.
- Open the tool and select your printer.
- Click Fix Printing Issues and follow the prompts.
3. Check Print Spooler Service
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Scroll down and find Print Spooler.
- Right-click and select Restart.
- Try printing again.
4. Manually Install HP Full Feature Software
- Go to HP Software & Driver Downloads.
- Search for HP ENVY 5530, select Windows 11, and download Full Feature Software.
- Install it and restart your computer.
5. Run Windows Troubleshooter
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Select HP ENVY 5530 and click Run the Troubleshooter.
6. Ensure Correct Port Selection
- Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on your printer and select Printer Properties.
- Go to the Ports tab and make sure the correct port is selected (USB for wired, WSD/Standard TCP/IP for network).
7. Check User Permissions (For Error Code -30)
- Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click HP ENVY 5530 → Select Printer Properties.
- Go to the Security tab and ensure your user account has Full Control.
- Click Apply > OK and restart your PC.
8. Disable UAC (User Account Control) Temporarily
- Type UAC in Windows Search and open Change User Account Control Settings.
- Move the slider to Never Notify, then click OK.
- Restart your PC and try printing again.
