My printer will not print any jobs. I've restarted my computer and followed every suggestion from the virtual assistant. Changed ports and attempted to find another driver to download (unsuccessfully). Printer randomly takes in paper and goes to print, but then spits out paper half-way and doesn't finish the job. Then I have to cancel or resume or pull the paper out the rest of the way. Then it automatically pulls in another sheet and does the same thing again.

Hi @Kaleigh2024,
Thank you for your reply,
It sounds like you're experiencing several issues with your HP Deskjet F4280 printer. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the problems:
Check Printer Connection:
- Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer via USB or through a network connection, depending on your setup.
- Try using a different USB port or cable if possible.
Restart Printer and Computer:
- Turn off both your computer and the printer.
- Unplug the printer from the power source and wait for about 30 seconds.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
- Restart your computer.
Update Drivers:
- Visit the official HP website and make sure you have the latest drivers for your printer model.
- Download and install the correct driver for your operating system.
Check for Paper Jams:
- Make sure there are no paper jams inside the printer. Open the printer cover and inspect for any stuck paper.
- Ensure that the paper is loaded correctly in the tray.
Clear Print Queue:
- Open the print queue on your computer and cancel all print jobs.
- Restart the print spooler service:
- Press Win + R to open the Run dialog, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Locate "Print Spooler" in the Services window, right-click it, and select "Restart."
Printer Troubleshooter:
- Run the built-in printer troubleshooter on your computer. In Windows, you can find it in the Control Panel under "Troubleshooting" or "Devices and Printers."
Reinstall Printer:
- Uninstall the printer driver from your computer and reinstall it.
- Disconnect the printer, uninstall the driver, restart your computer, and then reconnect the printer and reinstall the driver.
Firmware Update:
- Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer on the HP support website. Follow the instructions to update the firmware.
Factory Reset:
- As a last resort, you can consider performing a factory reset on your printer. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.
