@and88BB, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

It seems that your HP LaserJet M111a is configured to print page numbers at the bottom of your printed sheets. This feature can often be managed within the printer settings or the printing preferences of your operating system.

Access Printing Preferences:

For Windows:

  • Go to the 'Control Panel' and select 'Devices and Printers.'
  • Right-click on your HP LaserJet M111a printer and select 'Printing Preferences.'

For Mac:

  • Open the document you want to print.
  • In the 'File' menu, select 'Print.'
  • In the printing dialog, choose 'Show Details' and look for your printer settings.

Check for footer or header settings:

  • In the printing preferences, look for settings related to footers and headers.
  • Disable any options related to printing headers, footers, or page numbers.

Check the application settings:

  • Sometimes, applications like Microsoft Word or Excel can have their own settings for printing page numbers.
  • Ensure that these settings are disabled within the application itself.

Also, refer to this guide: HP Printers - Unexpected Text Prints (Windows) | HP® Support

If these steps do not resolve your issue, refer to your printer's user manual or visit the HP support website for additional troubleshooting.

I hope this helps.
