If you see "copy 1" you probably installed the printer twice. That is not a problem but I suspect you do not need or want more than one copy.
Run the following app from the command line
printui /s |
Remove all references to the HP printer.
Install the new driver and then search for the printer
General help for new router or printer
1 - Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on your HP printer
2 - Wi-Fi connection is lost after router or network settings change
3 - HP Smart help with printer connection.
Please provide the exact model name of the printer for better assistance as I may be able to find videos to show how to connect or fix the problem. A printer can be a PRO or a PLUS or have the letter 'e' after the number and that can make a big difference. Some printers with the same number ID could be a LaserJet, Deskjet, or Officejet.

I have an HPEnvy 5540...no extra letters or numbers.
thanks for your help....
Can't find printui or can't find the printer?
printui is a standard app for windows 10 or 11. I do not know about older OS
If it is missing then the OS is corrupted and needs to be repaired
SFC and DISM are both tools that scan and repair corrupted system files. However, SFC uses a cached version of the files, while DISM uses the internet to download and fix the files.
Try the SFC first and if it gives a message that it cannot fix the problem then try the DISM tool.
