HP Recommended

 

I downloaded the Full Webpack -118-DJ2640 recommended to setup the DJ2640 printer on a Windows XP operating system. I also downloaded the recommended NET framework 3.5 upgrade from the same HP website. I transferred both files onto a DVD to perform the setup on the Windows XP laptop. The NET framework installed successfully, but the Full Webpack-118-DJ2640 has failed to install repeatedly. Any suggestions on what may be wrong. I am unable to connect to the internet to perform the install because the XP diagnostic reports that the WIFI card is missing or damaged. I checked and the WIFI card is physically there, but apparently is not functioning. I removed and replaced the card to insure secure connections, but still no WIFI.

Any suggestions on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
