Hi @rudy0011,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Here's a brief troubleshooting guide for reconnecting your HP Envy 6000 series printer that went offline:

Basic Troubleshooting Steps

Restart Devices:

  • Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Computer: Restart your computer.

Check Printer Status:

  • Ensure the printer is set to "Online". Go to Devices and Printers on your computer, right-click the printer, and select See what's printing. Then, in the window that opens, select Printer and ensure Use Printer Offline is unchecked.

Check Connections:

  • Wireless Connection: Ensure the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. Print a Wireless Network Test Report from the printer's control panel to check the connection status.
  • USB Connection: If using USB, ensure the cable is securely connected to both the printer and the computer.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Open HP Print and Scan Doctor and follow the on-screen instructions to diagnose and resolve issues.

Update Drivers:

  • Ensure you have the latest printer drivers installed. Visit the HP Support website to download and install the latest drivers for your printer model.

Reconnecting Your Printer

Using HP Smart:

  • Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  • If the printer is not listed, click Add Printer or the + icon to find and reconnect your printer.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Wi-Fi Setup Mode:

  • If the printer is not connecting, you may need to put it into Wi-Fi setup mode. Usually, this involves holding down the Wireless and Cancel buttons on the printer until the Power light starts blinking.
  • Use the HP Smart app or your computer to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Reset Network Settings:

  • If the above steps don't work, try resetting the network settings on your printer. This is usually done by pressing and holding the Wireless and Cancel buttons for about 5 seconds until the network light starts blinking.
  • Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network using the HP Smart app.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
