Check Mobile Device Connection:
- Make sure the Wi-Fi on your mobile device is active. You should connect to the HP Wireless Direct network by selecting the printer from the available networks list that appears on your mobile device. It will typically look like HP-Print-**-DeskJet 4222e, where ** are unique identifiers for your printer.
- If a password is required, enter it when prompted.
Install and Use a Compatible Printing App:
- Ensure that you have a compatible printing app installed on your mobile device. HP offers mobile printing applications you can download for free, available at HP Mobile Printing Applications.
Confirm Printer Setup:
- Check whether the printer was correctly installed on your mobile device. If using HP Wireless Direct, verify that your mobile device is connected to the printer's wireless network.
