Is there a way to make a 3833 chime after the first side is printed when double-sided printing?

Hi @BrettInSA,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Yes, you can usually set your printer to chime or make a sound after finishing the first side of a double-sided print job. Here’s how you might do it:

Printer Settings: Check your printer's manual or settings menu. Some printers have options to enable sounds or alerts for specific functions.

Print Driver: When sending a print job, look for options in the print dialog related to notifications or alerts. This may vary depending on your operating system and printer model.

Two sided print settings: Refer to the steps on this link to further troubleshoot to change the print settings.

Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a great day ahead!
