i purchased HP Desk Jet Ink Advantage Ultra 4929 printer today and when i connect the cable to my PC, it does not work. i tried to install the driver from your site but it does not install. what i do???? i am using window7 in my PC.

Based on the available information, the issue you describe matches a general HP Deskjet Ink Advantage Ultra 4929 software installation problem on Windows, where the computer does not recognize the printer driver and a fatal/driver error can occur. You can try completing the installation by manually selecting the driver in Device Manager.
 

Step-by-step: Manually Select the Printer Driver in Windows 7

  1. Open Control Panel - On the Windows taskbar, click the Windows icon. - Click Control Panel.
  2. Open Device Manager - In Control Panel, click System and Maintenance. - Click Device Manager.
  3. Show Hidden Devices - In Device Manager, click View. - Select Show hidden devices.
  4. Locate the HP Printer Entry - Click the plus sign (+) next to Printers to expand the list. - Find the HP printer entry (for your Deskjet it will be the HP driver you attempted to install).
  5. Update the Driver Software - Right‑click the HP printer entry. - Click Update Driver Software.
  6. Browse for Driver Software - Click Browse my computer for driver software. - Then click Let me pick from a list of drivers on my computer.
  7. Select the Correct Printer Driver - In the list, select the driver that matches your HP printer model. - Click Next to start the driver installation. - Do not select a generic or universal driver; choose the specific printer you are installing.
  8. Finish Installation - When the driver installation completes, click Close. - Return to the original HP software installer window (if it is still open); installation should continue automatically. - When it finishes, click Finish and try printing a test page.
