Why in the world am I paying you to print when I own one of your computers and can just pay the library? I am on SSDI and this is an expense I do not need.

You need not continue the subscription.

Instant Ink is an optional service contract.

Ink is supplied only with an active subscription.

After the service is terminated by you or by HP,

• All subscription ink cartridges stop working 
• Instant Ink / Subscriptions cartridges must (should) be removed from the printer returned to HP

Next,

• Purchase a new set of HP ink cartridges and install the ink in the printer
