Hey everyone!
So every time I try to connect to my printer, there is a message that says "needs attention." And when I try to print, it says "User Intervention Required," or something along those lines. I seriously have no idea what it could be. I have digged through my printer's settings and I cannot find a single thing that is off. The only thing we don't have in the printer is colored ink but we always print in black and white. I've tried resetting the printer's settings to default factory settings but that does not seem to help either. Two last things I want to note is that 1). sometimes things aren't printed until the next day and 2). emailing my printer for it to print documents works flawlessly.
Guys, any help I could get would be great! Thank you so much!

Hi @Gabej07
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you
Due to the current global COVID-19 situation, we're seeing an influx of customers coming in for support. We appreciate your patience.
Let's try a power reset on the printer
Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Use HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
- Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.
- Once HP Print and Scan Doctor is open, click Start, and then choose your printer.
- If your printer is not listed, turn it on and click Retry.
- If there is a connection problem, follow the instructions in the tool.
- Click Fix Printing.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
