I am trying to install HP LaserJet M402 in Windons OS 7 pro but it reponds by the message HP CSI Shell stopped working, when i download the software from the internet again after reinstallation it tells me a fatal error occurred preventing product use.

 

Please assist.

This was the answer to our issue. Come on HP, update your **bleep** software for modern OSs! 

 

Ok, not threaded - enabling the ancient .Net 3.5.1 fixed it.
