@XanderC, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e is printing gibberish, reinstalling the printer driver may often resolve this issue. Here’s how you can reinstall the driver:

Remove the Printer

  • In Windows, search for and open Printers & scanners.
  • Locate the HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e printer, select it, and then click Remove to uninstall the printer queue.

Uninstall the HP Smart app (Optionally)

  • This step is optional if you encounter persistent issues with the app itself.
  • Open the HP Smart app, right-click the printer in the list and select Hide Printer.

Reinstall the Printer Driver

  • Download the HP Smart app if you haven't: HP Smart - Microsoft Store.
  • Open the HP Smart app.
  • Click Add Printer or Set Up a New Printer.
  • Follow the prompts to add your printer back to the system.

Update the Printer Driver

  • Ensure to check for any available updates for the printer driver via the HP Smart app, or by visiting HP Customer Support for the latest driver releases.

Troubleshoot and Verify

  • After installing, print a test page to ensure proper functionality.
  • If issues persist, refer to the HP Smart app for additional troubleshooting.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
